One of my favorite fashion blogs (okay, possibly the only fashion blog I read) just posted about a super-cute internet clothing store here. We’re talking super cute, customizable, affordable dresses and more! Check out eShakti here.

I’m coming back by to tell you that tiny biting Elmos sound terrifying indeed. Once here, I also noticed we’ve got some overlapping tastes: 1. My sister Lili just sent me the link for those cute affordable customizable dresses, and 2. I have a Macy’s couch. Actually I have a whole long story about Macy’s couches. Two years ago I searched high and low for furniture and was about to resign myself to something expensive and just-tolerable from RC Willey, when someone (I don’t remember who, but I’m very grateful) suggested I look at Macy’s. And here was a furniture store where I liked just about everything, and the prices weren’t bad, either. We got a brown leather couch and chair for practicality, and a fabric couch in “seafoam,” very similar to the one in your lower picture, as my splurge because it was pretty and on sale and would make a nice contrast to the brown. Since it was fabric, I got the “Worry No More” protection plan. My kids immediately went to town on it with jam, nosebleeds, pens, etc., and I kept forgetting to call about the stains (and you have to call while the stains are fresh or they’re not covered) but a little before Christmas I caught my three-year-old in the act with a ball point pen, which is a stain the plan covers, and I called right away. They said they’d send someone within about 24 hours (or maybe they said 48) but no one ever came, and I forgot about it because it was the holidays. A couple weeks later I got a call that they were replacing the whole couch because they’d failed to send someone.

This time (because my husband insisted, after seeing what our kids do to light-colored fabric couches) I picked out a leather couch, also in the seafoam color. It’s a custom one so it’s supposed to take six months to get here, so I still have my old dirty couch (which I actually like quite a lot, and I might even get cleaned while I’m waiting for the new one, if I get around to it). I did have to pay the difference since the leather couch cost more, and that did close out the Worry No More coverage, although I ordered a new plan for the new couch.

Anyway. I like your sectional sofa, and immediately recognized those photos as being of Macy’s furniture.

Sorry to tell you such a long story in a comment. :)

I obviously have not been to your blog in a while. BUT thank you so much for passing along this site! Oh my goodness. The dresses are amazing. And I can’t get over the prices and custom aspect of it all. This could be a very dangerous site for me to know about :]
